This is a Picture of the St. George Temple. I chose it today for a reason. Last night I lost a family member to cancer. It's a hard thing, really, and my thoughts and prayers are with his wife and kids. But it really has me thinking about how fragile life really is. It's here one minute and gone the next. We tend to live our lives as if we are invincible, like we have all the time in the world. That's not the case. We all get caught up in the rat race of our own lives and often fail to enjoy the little things that life has to offer us. We put off seeing an old friend or telling someone how we feel because we assume there's always time later, but there isn't always. Take time to enjoy the little things in life, catch a sunset and really see the colors. Better yet, make time to catch a sunrise. Just relax and watch it, don't just notice it, really see it. Try to find the beauty in the little things. And above all make time for those who matter, no matter what. Don't let a day go by without telling those you love that you love them. Lose yourself in helping others, and don't pass up opportunities to get out and experience things you don't normally do. Tomorrow may not come. Live your life so that when the day comes that you look back you have as little regrets as possible.I'm so thankful for the gospel in my life and for the knowledge that families can be together forever. It's so wonderful to know that one day we will be reunited with all our loved ones, and that this time on earth is so short compared to eternity.
